Are you a school?
No, we are quite simply a space for vendors to hold their classes. Our campus has vendors that teach academic and enrichment/elective classes for homeschool students, grades Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
are you a drop off?
Students enrolled in concurrent classes may stay on campus through break periods, If students are enrolled in a single class, please make sure to bring and pickup students for class time only. The playground is reserved for enrolled students.
are you a closed campus?
Yes, for the safety of our children and your peace of mind our campus is closed. All non-students on campus have been background checked. While you don't have to leave while your kids in class, we do ask that you wait outside the gates.
Do I have to sign up for the entire day?
No. Families pick the classes they want and only attend those classes. You may sign up for one class or multiple classes.
How are you different than a traditional school?
A traditional school takes over the education of your student. The vendors on our campus are here to assist families in areas that they might need additional guidance in or to offer fun electives to broaden the students horizons. They do not take over. You only sign up for the classes you would like additional support in. You will still need to work with your child at home.
Do you accept charter funds?
Yes the vendors on our campus do. To see which charters most partner with, click here. Please check with the vendor if you don't see a charter listed.
do i have to be signed up with a charter?
No. We work with families that file a PSA, or those families that wish to pay out of pocket for classes.
Will I still need to do schoolwork with my child?
Yes. The academic vendors that teach on our campus are here to introduce concepts in each of the classes they teach. Mastery of those subjects comes at home, with you the parent assisting your student. They will do their best to cover as much as they can over the course of the year, but additional work will be required of the families. Concepts are introduced in class and the instructors look for understanding, however, if you want your student to master skills, or if they struggle with a particular subject/concept, additional support at home could be needed.
Do the kids get homework?
This is up to the individual vendors.
My child has special needs, can they take classes on your campus?
This is reviewed on a case by case basis and depends on the severity of their needs. We do not have any services on our campus to accommodate severe cases. Please reach out to campus Administration or with the individual vendors for more information.
Do you have policies in place for Covid-19?
Do you offer drop in classes?
No. It has been found to be very distracting for the students that are already enrolled in the class(es) to have students drop in, it also isn't a realistic reflection of the experience for the new student. It usually takes a few weeks for the student to settle in. For more information, please reach out to the individual vendors.
Do you have virtual classes?
Different vendors have different options. Please reach out to the individual vendor to find out theirs.
