Introductory/Beginner Spanish
This class is for those that are just embarking on their Spanish speaking journey. Begin their experience of speaking, listening, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish.
Emphasis is on communicating in Spanish through speaking, listening, reading, and writing in age appropriate ways. Students will also study Latin American and/or Spanish culture and geography, and some history. Students will participate in individual, paired, group and class activities as well as complete written and oral exercises to practice new vocabulary. Students will also write stories in Spanish and practice speaking and listening proficiency throughout the year. Understand the cultures of the Spanish-speaking countries.
